Battelle Memorial Institute

Battelle Memorial Institute is the world’s largest independent research and development organization, working to advance scientific discovery and application. They hired me to create a logo to showcase their coastal management programs. I played with some ideas, then thought… how about humans and fish co-existing, with equal weight? In a yin/yang symbol?

This was great to work on, because working for environmental causes, saving animals, nature, and health have always been very important for me.
