Bartsch & Radner
A landscape architect firm in Boston hired me to come up with a new logo and look for their company. They wanted something that was very crisp and modern, that “popped.” However, I was given constraints… they did NOT want any green in the logo, or any sort of plant representation, because they did so much more than just greenscapes. After lots of back and forth on many versions, I thought I had it: symbols of water, air, earth, and fire, in blue for sky and gray for land or rocks. But then the partnership dissolved before the logo was finally approved and implemented! I still think it’s one of my best logos, and since it never got used I’d love to have another landscape architecture firm hire me and grab it!
